Jurassic Park 4 Director Interview
A whole 20-minute interview with the director of Jurassic Park IV. I am so glued to my seat. It's good to hear that the director of the movie that I've been waiting the majority of my life for is taking this movie seriously and has real expectations for what people want and how much they care. I actually trust this guy with a movie I've been waiting 12 years for. Whether the whole thing actually turns out be decent, I wont know until 2015, though. But all seems promising.

You Are Umasou: The Japasnese Dino-Anime

Continuing today's apparent theme of dinosaurs, I want to talk a little about this film. The image above is for a film titled You Are Umasou.
How this movie managed to slip under my radar is beyond me, because it really is great. My girlfriend introduced me to the film, which we only knew of because of Tumblr. (Thanks, Tumblr, you magical place, you.) We managed to track down a translated version of the film and I can tell you that it's definitely worth watchings. It's got cuteness! It's got action! It's got "I'm gonna cry" moments!
I'd even go so far as to say that I enjoyed it more than I enjoy The Land Before Time. The animation is nowhere near as good as The Land Before Time here though...that Don Bluth can't be topped when it comes to animation. But never the less, you should go watch this somehow. Wish I could tell you where I found the translated version, but I can't. Tumblr's a good place to start searching for a link though... What I can leave you is a link to a trailer. RIGHT HERE

Pixar's New Movie: The Good Dinosaur!

I'm a huge fan of both Pixar and well, dinosaurs in general. So you can imagine my excitement when Pixar announces The Good Dinosaur due to release next summer.
Unfortunately, no footage of any kind exists or at least I cant seem to find any anywhere. This seems odd to me as most Pixar film reveals come with some form of teaser trailer or snippit years in advance. I recall seeing Brave for the first time in 2010, though it released in 2012. This fact honestly  has me a little worried that the film will be rushed to release next year and will become less than what it could have been. But alas, why worry? For now, I have the promise of a Pixar film featuring dinosaurs. You'd better believe I'm excited!
